I think this one is more about the heart than the mind. Kalder's heart is with and until he realizes that a relationship will not be possible he is unable to get his mind of Atlantis. We should all pay attention to our hearts because they at least tell us where we want to go the mind helps us navigate but the heart sets the destination. This one definitely is a reminder to us all that multitasking is not effective.
