I am so glad we finally got closure on Aisha, I think the quote I have extracted from her strikes upon something quite deep. I have a strong sense of justice and that can make me forceful if  I let it, it's very easy to lose sight of the means and very easy to justify almost anything based on an ideal outcome.

Tory expressed a desire to be first at something for once in her life and in order to do that she know she cannot cheat.

Everyone has to play some kind of a game in life and when we break the rules there are penalties and even legal penalties. Breaking the rules how Tory got kicked out of school in the first place, the problem with Kreese's strike first strike hard no mercy is that it's not a practical way to navigate life. 

At the end of season 4, Tory learns she did not win fairly when she had previously stated and believed she did not need to cheat. I think this will be key to her development, having won unfairly she is beginning to get that it's how you win that counts.

Daniel And Mr Miyagi
